We are a small group who became disenchanted with the current situation where most of the factions are owned by a few small groups of people who get richer off the efforts of their faction members, while the members get a pittance.

So we decided to work towards forming our own faction - a completely different type of faction - with co-operative ownership; where the members own the faction and the members share the profits from their combined efforts. eXiles is the embodiment of that ideal. eXiles is more than just a name. Whether voluntary or involuntary exiles, we are atypical, operating outside the status quo of the autocratic model of most groups. Our members come from throughout the galaxy and have diverse backgrounds. We're not interested in employees. We're interested in partners. That means how you fit in with the people in the group is equally as important as your ability and activity.

The Federation of Free Alliances (FFA) was born from a desire for Freedom. While the Empire's military might hovers over the galaxy like an approaching thunderstorm, the Empire has failed to keep the peace in the galaxy. The Rebellion is long buried, supplanted by a rival empire to the G.E. Most of the governments in the galaxy are either imperialistic, despotic, aristocratic, or outright criminal. Inflation and crime run rampant, and the threat of war hangs constantly over the heads of the entire galaxy. Peaceful and independent sentients maintain a tenuous hold on their freedom and both sides of the Galactic War have made it clear by their statements and actions that those independent groups exist at the respective Empires' whim.
